This week, we held a fantastic launch event to celebrate the opening of our new Drench Outlet in Poole with a host of special guests!
It was a gloriously sunny, spring day this week for the official opening event of our fabulous new Drench Outlet at Nuffield Road in Poole.
Fix Radio’s Bald Builders came along as special guests to celebrate the new store alongside our Managing Director, Elliot-Lees-Bell. Pictured left to right: Mike Ratcliffe, Sam Hughes, Lee Saunders, Elliot Lees-Bell, Louis Wilkinson and Brad Hanson.
The area’s kitchen and bathroom specialists were also invited to take a closer look at the outlet, meet the team and enjoy a selection of delicious food and drink.
Guests were treated to plenty of local delicacies, including Bournemouth’s much-loved Chicken & Blues, voted Southern England and Wales’ Best Chicken Restaurant 2024, and donuts from BigWigs Bakery.
Those at the event were also encouraged to take part in a 'Fastest Fitter' challenge where each contestant worked against the clock to fit four types of Top-Fix basin waste. The winner completed the challenge in 10.21 seconds and will receive a £250 Drench Outlet Voucher as a prize.
Brad Hanson and Sam Hughes who make up the Bald Builders host the national weekday breakfast show on Fix Radio with 700,000 weekly listeners. The popular duo have also amassed a huge fanbase on social media with around 4 million followers tuning in to stay up to date with their building projects and family life.
Other social media influencers from the area were also in attendance, including Dot Alice from @thefaffingnest and Meg from @kingscrofthome.
The 9000 sq. ft. Drench Outlet opened to the public in February and is home to the our bestselling bathroom essentials, mirrors, kitchen taps, sinks, and radiators. It also has a large selection of clearance stock across all categories at up to 70% off RRP. Customers are able to take away immediately or arrange same or next day delivery.
